Jacqueline Woodson Virtual Author Visit

On October 19, 2019 our eighth graders took part in a virtual author visit with the current National Ambassador for Young People's Literature, Jacqueline Woodson. The event was hosted by a college in our state and NJASL, our state professional organization for library media/specialists helped to get the word out on the author visit. This was such a wonderful experience, with a focus on representation in books and inclusion of people that may be different than oneself.
