Unplugged Lunch : A Technology Free Initiative

As a library media specialist, the curriculum in all of my courses (coding, broadcast, and media studies) is centered on technology. This is only appropriate, as our current and future world are tech both tech dependent. However, with a one to one chrome book initiative in my school, I felt there was a need to set aside time to be technology free. And thus, unplugged lunch was born! Students come twice a week to eat their lunch in the library and play with magna-tiles, play-doh, rubix cubes, color,etc. Here are the results thus far- xoxo
