Miss DiPisa: Library Media Specialist

When I graduated college a little over a year ago, I thought to myself "You will be a first grade teacher". That was partially true, as I was a first grade teacher for the first half of the last school year. I was under the impression that when I made the leap to fourth grade over the holiday break to pursue another leave job, I had conquered the most difficult hurdle, and class, that I ever would in my career. I had left my leave job in June on track to teach Kindergarten the next school year. Two months later, I still thought I would be teaching elementary school until two weeks before school started and I accepted a library media specialist position in a middle school. I could have never predicted that my teaching journey (and insane undergraduate course load) would lead me here, especially as a year two teacher, but, challenge accepted. Stay tuned as the odds and ends for an elementary teacher becomes odds and ends for ANY teacher. xoxo
