Spring Break Treats: An Inside Joke Turned Thoughtful Gift

To celebrate Spring break in April, I decided to surprise my students with Spring themed Chinese food boxes filled with mini play-dohs and a little note. My students had brought play doh for a diorama project and I joked with the class to keep it away from me because I LOVE play doh and would just play with it for hours. When I came across a 15 for $5 back of play dohs in TJ Maxx soon thereafter, I was inspired to play it up and use it for a small treat. The students loved it, especially with the final touch of their teacher's bitmoji hiding from the play doh in the springtime grass. xoxo.
