"Doubles + 2" Snowmen Village

In math, 1st graders were working on doubles + 2 facts around the holidays (2+ 2, 3+5, 4+6, etc.) We decided to make a snowmen village with the facts we knew, drawing pictures to show the digits we chose for each snowball in the snowman. The first addend was represented in the face snowball, the second addend was represented in the torso addend, and the sum was represented in the bottom snowball. xoxo
